Our Aims
- Build the capacity and resilience of the local Voluntary and Community Sector.
- Support new groups and organisations to flourish.
- Provide up-to-date and relevant training and information for the sector.
- Work with groups and individuals to develop ideas and projects.
- Provide funding advice.
- Support Volunteer Recruitment.
- Promote best practices in volunteer supervision and development.
- Provide opportunities for local voluntary sector organisations to network and form partnerships.
- Advocate and speak up on behalf of the sector, whilst celebrating their success and positive impact made!

We also match individuals with meaningful volunteering opportunities, supporting both those who want to give their time and the organisations that need their help.

In a region facing significant deprivation and isolation, we work to bridge the gap between grassroots initiatives and policymakers — fostering stability, reducing fragmentation, and amplifying community voices.
