Digital confidence and friendly technology support
Exeter Tech Solutions provides friendly, patient technology support across Dawlish, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot, Exeter and surrounding areas. Alongside general home IT support, a key focus is digital confidence – helping older people, people living with disabilities and anyone who may need some extra time or support using phones, tablets, computers and online services. One-to-one home visits can cover everyday technology problems, setting up devices, email and video calls, accessibility settings, apps and photos, suspicious messages and scams, and simply helping someone feel more confident using their technology. Everything is explained at the person's own pace, with no jargon, judgement or rushing. Family members, friends, carers and support workers are also welcome to get in touch on somebody else's behalf. I'm also keen to work with local charities, community groups and organisations around digital inclusion, including informal Digital Confidence Q&A sessions and technology drop-ins.
