Dementia Engagement Specialist Services
Hi! I’m Florence.
I founded Dementia Partnered Care in 2025 to support people living with dementia and their families in staying active and engaged as the dementia progresses. My approach is shaped by both personal and multicultural professional experiences. I have supported people living with dementia in Switzerland, the United States, and England, and have seen firsthand how compassionate, person-centred and person-led support can positively impact everyday life for everybody involved.
Alongside my experience as both a family member and professional care partner, I deepened my understanding through a Master’s degree in Psychology, majoring in Cognitive Neuroscience, as well as additional training in hypnotherapy, progressive muscle relaxation, and autogenic training.
My work is inspired by Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® and Sonia Lupien’s work on human stress. I believe in supporting dignity and well-being through meaningful and personalised engagement, and experiences that foster familiarity, predictability, safety, and a sense of control.
