Inclusive community mind-body wellness activities such as gentle yoga, chi gung, anxiety, pain and stress management to promote wellbeing
Who are we?
The Wheels of Ananda project is a small Community Interest Company providing inclusive and accessible mind-body wellness activities to support the physical and mental health of individuals and groups across our North Devon community.
We particularly focus on supporting people’s wellbeing through difficult life circumstances such as illness, poverty, isolation, loneliness, domestic abuse, and loss, alongside facilitating community wellbeing events. Whilst life situations may not change, people can still learn simple, effective tools of self-empowerment and wellbeing to cultivate tangible benefits of greater happiness, relaxation, and resilience in their lives.
We help people to find simple, yet effective coping strategies to manage pain through acute and chronic health conditions; also to build self-empowering mind-body techniques to manage the impact of mental health through mindfulness, awareness and bioenergetic flow.
Our wellbeing project is targeted at hard-to-reach groups who can’t access or afford these, so people experience the tangible, positive benefits of down-to-earth mindfulness, relaxation, compassionate listening, and yoga.
