Devon Connect Receives Scouting Salute!

The Devon Connect team were thrilled to hear that our platform was recently able to make a difference, providing help to the North Devon Scout District!  

By using Devon Connect, a team of volunteers were able to find the North Devon Scout District's request for help in maintaining their campsite's grounds. Because of their kind work, the campsite is now cleaner and safer for when the next set of young visitors arrive! More details about the volunteer team’s incredible work can be found the North Devon Scout District’s Facebook page.

Devon Connect is now in the libraries

We are excited to share the news that Devon Connect can now be accessed from local libraries.

Through initial discussions with Barnstaple library regarding promoting Devon Connect to the general public, it was agreed that all Devon Libraries will have the DC link on their public access computers.

People can sign in using their library card and access all the DC information under the library resources page.

Devon Connect launches

'Devon Connect' aims is to make it easier for people to find local information, access volunteering opportunities and get involved projects and campaigns that make a positive impact in their communities.

DeVA partners from across Teignbridge, Torridge, South Hams, West, Mid and North Devon have joined forces to support the new platform which is free and accessible to everyone (regardless of where they live in Devon).
