BeWell@StepOne's Torquay Wellbeing Walk - Torre Abbey takes place fortnightly on Fridays.
When: Fortnightly on Fridays from 2pm. Walk finishes at approximately 3.30pm. Visit Step One's website for a list of upcoming dates.
Where: The walk starts at Spanish Barn, The King’s Drive, Torquay, TQ2 5JE. We meet in front of it’s main doors
Walk difficulty: Easy (paved paths, minimal inclines and declines).
Distance: Approximately 2.7 miles.
Designed to promote physical activity, social connections, and spending time in nature, the Torquay Wellbeing Walk is a free, bi-weekly group walking activity that invites people of all ages and fitness levels to come together. Led by an experienced walk leader, the walk covers approximately 2.7 miles of easy terrain, ensuring accessibility for all. Our route takes you through the harbour, past iconic landmarks like the Princess Theatre and The Pavilion, and along the stunning coastline. They can also learn about the range of wellbeing groups, courses, workshops and activities provided by Step One Charity through their BeWell@StepOne service.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance to ensure accommodation and to receive updates about potential changes due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Walk-ins are welcome, and registration assistance is also available upon arrival. Register here.
