Growing spaces aims to create local, sustainable food networks, fight food poverty, and enable participants to be part of the community.
The project seeks to encourage residents or organisations around Bovey Tracey to identify a patch of their garden in which they, or their gardener could grow fruit and vegetables.
The produce will be made available to others via the local community food hub, fridge or kitchen. Those who are involved with the project will be invited to community gatherings and meals across the year, showing that every type of contribution is valued and important.
