Helping the elderly in the local community to remain living independently at home through a range of free and paid-for services
This charity is at the heart of the community in Dawlish, Devon, promoting volunteering and offering information, advice, help and assistance to elderly and vulnerable people in the locality through the Community Support Project.
Wer also offer a range of paid for services to support independent living. We can match you with a member of staff to help you with domestic tasks; personal care needs; carers respite and more. Services are personalised for your needs.
Our volunteer services provide free support for those in the community who experience difficulties with day-to-day living because of their limited mobility, frailty, and/or sensory problems. Our volunteers enable them to engage in activities they would otherwise be unable to enjoy. Tasks undertaken include visiting housebound people at home, reading mail, dog walking, gardening, wheelchair escorting, accompanying to local exercise sessions, and supporting people on hospital appointments, shopping trips, and on excursions where support is needed, eg for those with mobility and/or visual impairment
