As Part of Green Libraries Week (21st-28th October), come along to a talk with Wildlife Warden and wildlife garden designer Elaine Hughes. You'll learn about out what happens to wildlife in winter and discover lots of ways to help attract creatures to visit and live in our gardens. This event is best suited to ages 16+.
Elaine is Chartered with the Royal Chartered Institute of Horticulture. She used to work for London Wildlife Trust as their in-house Wildlife Gardener. During that time, she managed their demonstration wildlife garden in East Dulwich and campaigned for wildlife friendly gardening. She has since been self-employed as a landscape designer across the range of commercial, community and private projects with a special interest in designing wildlife friendly spaces.
With thanks to Action on Climate in Teignbridge Wildlife Wardens and Newton Abbot Community Shed for making this event happen!
