To assist in the restoration of the Sharpham estate and parkland. The role will include maintenance or building of fencing and tree guards, creating wildlife habitats including building and erecting bird boxes on the Sharpham Estate, under the direction of the Wild for People Ranger. Volunteers may also assist in other ad-hoc duties and projects relevant to the role including preparing for events.

No experience is necessary as all training and tools will be provided. However a reasonable level of fitness required – the terrain is often steep and uneven. Volunteers will require a willingness to work outdoors throughout the seasons and a willingness to learn and participate. We ask for a minimum time commitment in order to manage group numbers. Please get in touch to apply and find out more.
