Tavistock Friendship Group is a social group for older people suffering from social isolation. It runs once a month for a couple of hours.
This wonderful and valued group is looking for new leadership as the currnet chairman is unfortunatly moving away.
The role would suit either an individual or a small team could work together.
The role involves,
- Fixing the programme for the year
- Leading the meetings
- Banking the money and reporting to the treasurer
- Buying food for the Tea in consultation with the kitchen team
- Organising transport for members to attend
This role is extremely rewarding and leads to lasting friendships.
