The gathering is designed to bring creatives together from all areas of Devon to form a proactive and supportive community made up of professionals, businesses and graduates/ students. That primarily works within the animation arts and Media.
The events will allow people the chance to share work, form collaborations, share opportunities and hopefully generate a strong creative community here in Devon. I plan to bring down my contacts from all over the UK who have worked in the TV, Film and animation industry to give talks and share much needed advice to the graduates and students. I also will be sharing information and important developments that I will have been party to discussions and in meetings with organisations such as The Royal Television Society, Devon Chamber of Commerce and ScreenDevon.
Building a strong animation /creative community here in Devon will allow us to set other initiatives in place which will benefit the community, county and its businesses. But also highlight how important the creative sector here in Devon is to the local and national economy.
