Volunteer Walk Leader – Tavistock Wellbeing Walks
Tavistock Wellbeing Walks is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help lead friendly and inclusive walking groups in and around Tavistock.
Our walks are designed to support people of all ages and abilities who want to become more active, improve their wellbeing, build confidence, and connect with others in their local community.
As a Volunteer Walk Leader, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Responsibilities include greeting participants, registering new and returning walkers, and helping everyone feel comfortable and included throughout the walk. Many of our walks are followed by an informal tea or coffee stop in a local café or community venue, providing further opportunities for social connection.
Volunteers can meet and share experiences with fellow Walk Leaders through regular meetings, training sessions, and social events.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support the health and wellbeing of your community while enjoying the benefits of walking and meeting new people yourself.
