Core Leader in Support

Part-Time - 4-5 hours per week

Responsibilities would include:

· Supporting our volunteer counsellors and befrienders, answering any queries, and ensuring volunteers are well and happy within their roles.

· Going out into the community as a representative for our Domestic Abuse Service supporting people whilst out in the community.

· Hosting and running drop-ins for the community, communicating with other organisations and drop-ins to create connections between other services and our service.

· Distributing resources between organisations and people within the community, as well as volunteer resources.

· Working closely with others within the organisation, as well as those in other organisations.

· Attending twice-weekly meetings.

Strategy meetings take place on Mondays 10-11am

Lead meetings take place on Thursdays 10-11am

For this role, you would be expected to attend these meetings either in person at our Paignton office, or via Microsoft Teams.

We are looking for people who:

· Are passionate in helping people

· Are empathetic and non-judgemental

· Positive and committed to the agreed hours

· Confident in working within a team

· Have access to the internet – or would be willing to use resources within our office

· Basic computer skills

· Willingness to learn
