Hello,
We are looking for someone who would be happy and capable to help set up our Memory Cafe every week, on a Thursday at 1pm. This would involve putting up eight long tables and putting out approximately 30-40 chairs. On most weeks you would have help and it takes approx 20 mins. Once this has been done, to then collect 4-6 people (depending on their car size) from a central collection point and bring them to the cafe.
Once the Cafe has finished at 4pm then (again with help) collapse the tables, stack the chairs and return the people that have been collected back to the central point.
It would be entirely up to you whether you'd like to stay at the cafe during the session and enjoy the music and have a chat with the members, or just be involved in the setting up, picking up, taking down and dropping off at either end of the session.
The applicant would need to be reliable, patient, prefererably with a friendly disposition and have all the necessary insurances on the car.
Expenses would be covered, but because we are a not for profit and unfunded group, that would be all we could offer. However, we are a very friendly, sociable group and any lack of monetry gain would be offset by being part of a great team of people who are involved with the Memory Cafe.
