Silverton Link Up, incorporated with the registered charity Freinds Of Wyndham House Surgery ( 1048253), require additional volunteer drivers to join our existing team taking Wyndham House Surgery patients to medical appointments.
Silverton Link Up was set up around 1990 and in an average year our volunteers make over 400 journeys covering at least 7000 miles.
Our team of volunteers help vulnerable patients attend medical appointments, without Link Up these patients, living in a rural area with limited public transport would miss important appointments.
Patients helped are very grateful and our volunteers find assisting patients very rewarding in what could be difficult times.
Wyndham House Surgery patients live in the villages of Silverton, Thorverton, Stoke Canon, Upton Pyne and surrounding areas and are taken from homes to Silverton Surgery, RDE , Tiverton Hospitals, Medical Clinics, Opticans and Dentist in the local area.
