If you enjoy driving and like meeting people, this is the role for you. You’ll be delivering wheelchairs to people locally or further afield to help them get moving again after illness or injury.
Ideally you will live within 10 miles of the equipment collection point at the British Red Cross office Exeter.
The role will involve loading the van at the start of the day at the office Exeter, travelling to Barnstaple to deliver the pop-up service and travelling back to the office in Exeter and unloading the van.
Physically able to safely lift or move wheelchairs and other mobility
equipment.
• A full, clean driving licence with at least 2 years driving experience and
confident to drive a larger vehicle/van.
• Minimum age 21 years old
• Enjoy meeting people and good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• IT literate and able to complete on-line training.
• Able to commit to a regular shift on a weekly basis.
