Our volunteer mentors are a very important part of our team.
We offer full training to give you the tools to support clients in your care to your full abilities.
All members of our team must have a enhanced DBS done through the charity.
We ask for a minimum of three hours a week to support our clients.
The mentoring role
Our support begins with our fantastic mentoring team. All individuals and families have the choice of having their own mentor.
Our fully trained mentors are here to support our clients through every step of their journey. Whether that be online, phone or one to one, the support is built around what they need.
It can be as simple as talking online on the phone or meeting for a coffee to chat due to isolation
The mentors will go through an action plan to give the client aims to reach for and help tailor their support to what they need.
The mentor can also offer support leading up to and during the court process by arranging pre-trial visits or accompanying them on trial days.
We have been a established service in Cornwall for 6 years, we are now extending our reach for clients to Devon, we are looking for amazing new staff memebers to join our team, help support and empower individuals who have been through the trauma of domestic abuse.
At present we are looking in the Plymouth area
