There are many lonely and isolated people in Torbay who cannot easily go out of their home.

The community Builders have many referrals for someone in the community to volunteer to visit someone who is isolated and just needs a friendly neighbour to pop in for a cuppa and a chat, sometimes just once a week.

This is needed throughout Torbay so if you answer this request I will put you in touch with your local Community Builder who is also a member of the Timebank and they can arrange for you to do a visit to an isolated person nearby.

The Community builder can also come along with you on the first visit to make sure that both parties are happy with the arrangements.

You can do this in your own time and no other demands will be made, just a friendly face and a positive chat to lift their spirits, community builders are always on hand to signpost for other needs.
