How strong is your board of trustees?
Your trustees play an important role in the direction and sustainability of your organisation whilst ensuring it is legally compliant.
Over the past two years, I've been working with organisations on volunteer recruitment. Trustee, and particularly Treasurer, recruitment has been a common theme. It can be a daunting prospect taking on that responsibility on such a part time and unpaid basis, and many people who would make great Trustees experience imposter syndrome and don't put themselves forward.
