Kingsbridge Learning Disability Charity Seeking New Trustees
Activities 115 are looking for passionate and enthusiastic people to join our board. You don't need to have a background in supporting people who have a learning disability, but you must share our passion for enriching people's lives through positive activities (www.activities115.co.uk).
What do we do?
As a charity we sponsor a range of activities which we believe will help individual's with learning difficulties develop. We are all dedicated to ensuring that the aims of the organisation are achieved and are looking to broaden the membership of our board of directors (trustees). So, if you are interested in becoming a voluntary trustee of Activities 115, we would love to hear from you!
Who are we looking for?
We particularly wish to broaden our skill base of the board, particularly if you have a finance background.
As part of our board, you will support and shape our sponsorship of activities for people with a learning disability in and around Kingsbridge, South Devon as well as guide the strategic direction of the charity. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your skill-set to guide the long term sustainability of the charity.
You will become part of a small friendly and inclusive organisation where we work supportively and enthusiastically together to a common end. Everyone contributes in their own way, and is valued for what they bring. Activities 115 is a great local charity based in Kingsbridge where we enrich the lives of others beyond the scope of local authority funded care packages. We meet monthly both in person and virtually to review and plan our programme of activities sponsorship and also to have fun.
