Are you 18+, identify as LGBTQ+ and live or work in Torridge? ?️?
Sunrise have partnered with North Devon Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) on Finding Natures Footprint. This brilliant new project aims to learn more about the nature in our villages, gardens, fields and shores.
Join us at 10am on Saturday 11th November as we explore the habitats of Northam Burrows and discover what makes this site so special. Starting out from the visitors centre with access to the café and toilets, we will be taking a walk along the coast to learn more about the wildlife of the beach, dunes and marsh. You can also learn more about the work of the rangers and volunteers caring for this site and find out how else you can get involved. We should be able to provide wet weather kit if needed.
Please get in touch via WhatsApp, phone, or email if you are interested in attending.
This activity is being offered as part of new LGBTQ+ services provided by Sunrise Diversity to tackle social isolations and loneliness within the LGBTQ+ community in Torridge, which include:
- Social meet ups in safe spaces
