The Ness Centre is a specialist dementia activity centre using a Dutch model called Dementia Meeting Centres. The centre supports families and individuals throughout the disease pathway through courses, activities, respite, home service. Every day activities take place that are designed to engage the individual regardless of their needs, keeping them socially connected, physically fit and increasing quality of life. There are cognitive stimulation courses for those with early diagnosis to maintain their function, and also courses for carers.
