The Big Lunch on Sunday 7th May is part of the national celebratory and community events that will take place over the Coronation Weekend between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May 2023.

On the Sunday on Torre Abbey Meadows, we will have a large marquee with a selection of organizations including:-

  1. Torbay Community Development Trust
  2. Event groups from across the bay
  3. Local and National Charitable Groups
  4. Local and National organisations

Volunteers can sign up for the Big Help Out on the 8th May to support their local community or sign up for something more regular.

  • The tent will be open from 11am till 6pm. There will be live entertainment throughout the day, which will continue into the night.
  • Children's Week will be providing FREE Coronation craft activities and an array of costume characters.
  • Large screen
  • Beer Tent
  • Food and refreshment stalls
  • Bring a picnic and enjoy the day!

If you would like to help everything run smoothly on the day of the Big Lunch, please get in touch; there are a host of different ways you can volunteer – and have fun being part of the team on the day.
