Tamar Energy Fest 2026
Tamar Energy Community is delighted to be bringing Tamar Energy Fest back to Butchers’ Hall, Tavistock this year, on Saturday 10th October 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00.
Drop by and we can offer you information and guidance to improve your home’s energy efficiency, increase comfort, and build resilience against rising energy costs including:
-
preparing our homes for keeping warm in winter and cool in summer as our climate changes
-
advising private renters and landlords on improving the efficiency, health and comfort of rented homes, and information to help landlords explore options for upgrading their properties and navigating the legislation
-
bringing together knowledgeable exhibitors, information stalls and interactive displays; with opportunities to ask questions and find out about ways to save energy, reduce costs and make informed choices about your home
-
exploring how community energy can help create a more resilient local energy system, giving communities greater involvement and security in how energy is generated and used
Whether you and/or your community are just beginning your journey or making progress, Tamar Energy Fest is here to help.
The event is free to attend and family friendly. There’ll be an energy quiz, What is Watt?, and an opportunity to make your own poster.
TEC’s advisors will be on hand throughout the day, and guests are welcome to drop by the pop‑up café for a cuppa and cake.
