We are looking for a volunteer based in the South Devon area(Torbay) to help expand our work and support clients on their journey of recovery.

This person will be passionate about helping people who have suffered or are currently suffering with addiction and/or mental health issues. Experience with fitness based sports such as Running, Cycling and Swimming will be essential for this role, in order for you to lead sessions safely and confidently.

You would be leading people on a 1 to 1 or a group basis, ensuring the activity, distance and pace is suitable for their fitness level and physical capabilities.

There is an accredited swimming venue at Teignmouth Beach that we would like to use to introduce clients to Open-Water Swimming. So someone who is a strong swimmer and confident leader would be great for us,

If you hold a Swim Bike Run Leader Award or Coaching Qualifications with British Triathlon already that's brilliant, otherwise, we would be happy to pay for the Leader training and safeguarding course providing you already have a decent level of fitness to lead the sessions.

The volunteer would be subject to an enhanced DBS check and also need to hold an up to date Safeguarding Certificate, both to be renewed every three years.
