The Devon Cricket Foundation along with the Lord's Taverners run weekly Super 1s sessions in Paignton, as well as other parts of the county, for children and young adults with SEN and disabilities to take part in cricket for free.
These sessions not only allow for these children and young adults, aged 8-25, to play and gain cricket skills, but also for the opportunities to make friendships and feel a sense of belonging within a safe space. For parents, guardians and carers these sessions also allow the opportunity to know that they can get involved themselves or equally sit back and talk with other adults with similar experiences. Super 1s providing a community for both parties.
Sessions take place at Mayfield College, (Parkfield Torbay site), Mondays, 4:30pm-5:30pm.
