The Devon Cricket Foundation along with the Lord's Taverners run weekly Super 1s sessions in Plymouth, as well as other parts of the county, for children with disabilities to take part in cricket for free.
These sessions not only allow for these children and young adults to play and gain cricket skills, but also allow for the opportunities to make friendships and feel a sense of belonging within a safe space. For parents, guardians and carers these sessions also allow the opportunity to know that they can get involved themselves or equally sit back and and talk with other adults with similar experiences. Super 1s providing a community for both parties.
Sessions take place at Sir John Hunt Community Sports College, Wednesdays, 4:30pm-5:30pm.
