MUSIC Week
Join Laura Loft from Big Music Collective for an exciting week of fun, creativity, and hands-on music-making! Each day, she’ll be joined by a special guest as they take you on a vibrant World Music Voyage—exploring unique instruments and musical traditions from across the globe.
From African drumming and Brazilian samba to Hawaiian ukuleles, a cappella singing, and more, there’s something new to discover every day.
Music Week is perfect for young people who love to create, as well as those eager to try new instruments and styles in a welcoming and supportive environment. No previous musical experience is required and all instruments are provided—just bring your enthusiasm!
Each day includes engaging warm-up games, a specialist music workshop (featuring djembes, ukuleles, singing, or tuned percussion), and a collaborative afternoon of songwriting and music creation. The day wraps up with an optional open mic session, giving everyone the chance to share what they’ve created.
