A mini-Festival of Adventure, Performance and Entertainment

Step Out of your door and come dancing, laughing, singing, listening, gazing, searching, and spotting with Red Herring Productions

Street Entertainment: Bideford

Follow a performance trail through the town.

Be prepared for weird, wonderful, and downright hilarious goings-on from the Bureau of Silly Ideas.  Come and enjoy Goldie Fiasco’s knife throwing and Angie Mack’s Hula Hoop shows.  Join in with craft activities at the brilliant Burton Art Box and watch Avanti Display’s Full Circle, you’ll never have seen so many buckets in one place!

Pollyfield’s Community Centre, Avon Rd, East-the-Water, EX39 4BL

Bunny the Psycho Housewife and Angie Mack’s amazing LED Hula Hoop light show will kick off the evening, followed by local legends The Oggle Band who will get us dancing our socks off.  The Red Herring comperes will make sure the evening runs (almost!) smoothly - you may even win a prize!

Outdoor Performances, Exhibition and Audio Walk: Northam Burrows

Northam Burrows Visitor’s Centre

Come cloud gazing in the Burrows with the brilliant Gobbledegook Theatre, enjoy ‘Where the River Meets the Sea’ an exhibition and audio walk made by children from East-the-Water Primary School, facilitated by Red Herring and local artists Ed Jobling and Amanda McCormack. Get involved with the Burton Art Box, watch some of Plastic Free North Devon’s films and you may even spot Red Herring’s Oystercatchers going fishing on the beach!
