The Railway Studies & Modellers Show is a family-friendly celebration of railways running 10am-4pm at Newton Abbot Library.

What's on at our 2025 show?

🚂 We have over 10 model railway layouts in a variety of gauges.

🚂 Family-friendly activities from 10.30am in the Children's Library, including a transport-themed Story Time at 10.30am, crafts and colouring, themed LEGO building challenges, and a railway themed trail to take you around the building.

🚂 Browse the trade stalls selling Railwayana, modelling equipment, books and more.

🚂 View our photograph exhibition showcasing some of the fascinating photos in our Railway Studies Collection, with help from our Friends of the Railway Studies Collection group.

🚂 Make your own railway-inspired wooden name badge with the Newton Abbot Community Shed from 12.30pm.
