Project Coordinator (Self-Employed)
Up to 10 hours per week | £20–£25 per hour (depending on experience)
We are a small, welcoming charity seeking a motivated and highly organised Project Coordinator to help strengthen our governance and support the growth of our trustee and volunteer team.
This role is central to building the long-term resilience and sustainability of our charity. You will play a key part in recruiting and supporting new trustees and volunteers, ensuring our committee remains active, effective, and well-resourced.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, engage, and support trustees and volunteers to ensure a vibrant and sustainable committee.
- Promote understanding of trustee responsibilities and encourage long-term engagement.
- Provide administrative support to the committee, including managing attendance records, reporting, and contributions.
- Collaborate with the Chair and committee members to ensure strong and effective governance.
- Coordinate the logistics of our monthly Walk & Chat sessions (e.g. booking transport or venues, capturing photos, compiling reports).
About You
Essential:
- Proven experience working with trustees and volunteers, with the ability to support, motivate, and develop individuals in these roles.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Confidence working closely with a Chair and a small committee to enhance governance and leadership.
Role Details
- Hours: Up to 10 per week (typically 6–8), combining scheduled meetings and flexible home-based work.
- Pay: £20–£25 per hour, based on experience.
- Contract: Self-employed, fixed-term (funding secured for a defined period).
