We have an exciting new job opportunity at Involve Voluntary Action in Mid Devon for the post of part time Project Assistant for our fantastic Big Lottery Reaching Communities funded ‘Communities that Can‘ project. This role will support our Project Manager and have a major impact on the overall success of the project. The project is designed to connect residents, foster local engagement, and support local organisations through real-world interactions. By offering connections through events, groups support, local directories, and volunteer opportunities, we aim to create stronger, more vibrant communities across Mid Devon. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management principles and excellent organisational skills. You will contribute to the project by providing support to the Project Manager as an integral part of our ‘Communities that Can’ team. In addition, the successful candidate will assist in planning, organising, and executing project activities, contributing towards the completion of project against defined milestones and monitoring and evaluation.

- Effective monitoring and evaluation is achieved.
- The project manager is supported to complete her role effectively.

Hours: (Part time) 16 hours per week, worked flexibly to include Mondays as mandatory.
Location: Tiverton office, some travel in Mid Devon and home based.
