We are very excited to be supporting Sunrise Diversity to bring Pride and Diversity Festival back to Barnstaple for 2024, and are once again looking for some lovely volunteer stewards to help bring the day to life!
The event is on Saturday 27 July, with the Pride march starting at 10:00 at Library Square, and ending at 11:00 on Castle Green, where the Diversity Festival will continue until 17:00. It’s set to be an exciting and relaxed day, with live music and performance, speakers, activities and stalls.
If you’re available and would like to be a part of the day, we have the following shifts to fill:

9:30-12:30 |
Pride march stewarding - this may involve walking with the march of being in a stationary position, if you have a preference just let me know.
Festival stewarding – assisting with directions, queries and reporting any issues that arise. |

12:00-15:00 |
Festival stewarding – assisting with directions, queries and reporting any issues that arise. |
|
14:30-17:30 |
Festival stewarding + closure – assisting with directions, queries, reporting any issues that arise, and helping to usher the public off site at festival closing time. |
