We're on the lookout for people with interests in the outdoors or music to join our team as volunteers for our youth club sessions in Okehampton. Our young people like getting active outdoors in nature and enjoy music. We need volunteers to assist with sessions and join in the youth club excitement.

About the role

Location: Room 13 Youth Centre in Okehampton

Hours of work: Completely up to you! 

Coach: Senior Youth Support Worker

Role Ref: DYSVOL

 

Purpose of the role

To support in the delivery of quality youth work sessions on behalf of Space Youth Services. 

 Role Details

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with and be inclusive of all young people, actively respecting their diverse needs and lived experiences. Actively support youth work teams to achieve local team targets and ambitions.

  • Build positive relationships with young people. Contribute to the design and delivery of youth work programmes with support.

  • Be kind, work in an anti oppressive way, demonstrating Space values in all that you do. Support and deliver individual activities in line with teams programme offer.
