It's free! For anyone to attend. Hear about what we can offer schools with school trips and transitions (including work experience & work placements). Are you 12 or older and living with a learning or physical disability? Or have mental health and / or other related needs? You may be leaving school / college unsure what to do next, or you could be an adult who wants to make connections with like minded people. Or you might not attend main stream school and are looking for other provision. Are you interested in volunteering? Would you like to see our facilities that we have available to hire? such as our sensory room. This therapeutic space has calming bubble tubes, a sensory projector, visual effects, tactile fibre optic strands, liquid floor tiles, weighted blankets and cushions, music, a messaging mattress and more. We will have community information stalls (please email [email protected] if you would like to have one) including grief counselling.On your arrival please let our reception office (in the main car park) or café know that you are here for the open morning. We will then give you a tour of our facilities.
Our café, serving homemade food, will be open 9am - 4pm.
We have an overflow car park. If our main car park is full, please come back out over the cattle grid and on to the A386, turning right - it is the next turning on the right-hand side and has our sign. By foot, please take the track back to the site (the A386 unfortunately does not have a pavement on that stretch), following our signs. The track is flat and wide enough for a wheel chair. We have a Changing Places toilet and wheelchair accessible play park.
