Come along with your little ones, with a supporting adult or alone for an informal, open chat about anything and everything parenting!
Our staff are trained Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAider®) and have also undertaken training in trauma informed practice. This session is not therapy, but a chance to chat about anything that's been on your mind over the week.
Don't worry if you have nothing to say, you can come along and just sit and breathe for an hour! We understand, parenting is hard sometimes.
Occasionally we may have arts & crafts or other therapy practitioners in, you can take part in any activities or not, it's entirely up to you.
Our venue is at Family Compass, Old Town Station.
From the Library, head towards the court house, cross the road and walk towards the water and you will see our sign. Go up the ramp behind the building and ring the doorbell to be let in.
The building is accessible with a ramp to the door and room for buggies.
