North Devon Cove CIC is a welcoming, teacher-led day provision for adults with learning disabilities, learning differences and autism, based at 30 Litchdon Street, Barnstaple.
From September 2026 we will be open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, providing meaningful, structured days that promote independence, confidence, wellbeing and community inclusion.
Our programme includes cooking and baking, arts and crafts, gardening, healthy living, fitness and wellbeing activities, digital skills, independent living skills, travel training, community outings, enterprise projects and opportunities to develop practical skills for everyday life. Every activity is designed to build confidence, encourage friendships and help people become active members of their local community.
North Devon Cove has been established by experienced SEND teachers who understand the importance of providing personalised support that helps each individual achieve their own goals. We work with each person to develop skills, increase independence and create opportunities that are meaningful to them.
We welcome both privately funded and commissioned placements and are happy to discuss individual needs. Families, carers and professionals are invited to get in touch to arrange a visit and find out more about what we offer.
