If you're local, there's a good chance you've wondered what has been happening at the old golf course recently.
You might have walked around here for years. Perhaps you've noticed a bit more activity lately. People with tins of Plymouth Grey paint, sofas and tables being lifted and shifted from vans - and people coming and going through the gate like sparrows bobbing in and out of their nests!
Or maybe you've driven past that brown golf club sign hundreds of times and thought, I wonder what's actually up that Devon country lane?
Well... we'd love you to come and have a look - whether it's your stomping ground or not!
For those who don't know us, we're Moor To Life CIC, a not-for-profit organisation that, for more than five years, has been bringing nature, regenerative land management and conservation together with adventure, learning, wellbeing and community engagement - because, for us, they all work better together.
We occupy many spaces and places in and around Devon, and one of our key bases over the years has been at Kitley Estate in Yealmpton - a place that remains very much part of Moor To Life and one we'll continue to operate from, invest in and develop. Spreading our wings and exploring more settings has always been part of our plan, and when the opportunity at Wrangaton came along - a place we'd already visited regularly over the years with our learners and explorers - we couldn't help feeling that perhaps the universe had a plan too!
Wrangaton isn't replacing Kitley. It's another part of the Moor To Life ecosphere - creating the space for our developing Centre of Excellence and our growing post-16 provision, while Kitley continues to grow and evolve alongside it.
It has taken many months, many emails and many conversations to get to this point, but we can finally say that Moor To Life is now also at Wrangaton.
Using the old golf clubhouse as our base and the stunning landscape as our classroom, we're finally at the point where we can say:

On Saturday 17 October, between 10am and 12 noon, we're opening the gates at Wrangaton, and we'd genuinely love you to come along.
There isn't going to be a grand unveiling. No ribbons cut or plaques unveiled. And there certainly won't be a room full of people presenting plans at you.
We'd simply like to meet you.
We'd love to share who we are and what we care about, and hear who you are and what you care about too.
We'll tell you a little more about Moor To Life, what we've been doing over the years and why this slightly extraordinary 129 acres has become part of our story. We'll share some of our hopes and ideas for Wrangaton, including Nurture Through Nature, a new programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund that's helping us bring people and nature together here.
But perhaps most importantly of all, we want to listen.
Wrangaton had a life long before Moor To Life arrived, and we know local people have stories, memories and connections to this place that we don't have.
And then there are all the things that haven't happened yet.
Maybe you have an interest you'd love to share. Perhaps you could imagine running a workshop or giving a talk here - or joining a workshop and listening to one.
It may be that you are interested in volunteering, conservation or one of our stewardship days. You might even want to help us think about what those days could look and feel like.
Perhaps you work with young people and are curious about different ways of learning. You may have followed Moor To Life for years and simply fancy seeing what we're up to next and saying hello.
Or you might have absolutely nothing to offer except curiosity, and that's more than fine too!
Come for ten minutes. Stay for a couple of hours. Have a wander, ask questions, have a cuppa and tell us what you think.
We're not expecting to have all the answers. There are no hidden expectations and no grand agenda. This is really just an opportunity to open the gate, get to know one another and start talking about what the next chapter at Wrangaton could look like.
So, hold the date in your diary. Have sunglasses and umbrellas, boots or sandals at the ready - this is Devon, after all! We can guarantee a welcoming smile and an open ear. The weather? Absolutely no promises!
