Mark first started playing guitar at the age of 12 while growing up on the coast of Lincolnshire, England. He then went onto to study music full time where he discovered the late Eric Roche, who inspired him to perform fingerstyle acoustic guitar. Since then Mark has performed at venues and festivals such as The Troubadour, Ronnie Scotts, The Barbican, Maida Vale, The Big Chill, Wavelength Spring Classic, and many more.
Now based in Bude, Cornwall where he lives with his wife and three children, Mark is a regular performer on the circuit and in September 2023 he released his first album ‘Roots & Wings. Now gaining regular support from over 7,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and being tipped off as being “one to watch” from Matt Tancock on BBC introducing. MBW is building a name for himself on the acoustic scene.
