This role covers several activities which aim to provide support to local policing teams, and is very versatile allowing volunteers the opportunity to get involved with lots of different activities within Devon & Cornwall Police. 

Tasks include:

  • Looking after the CarBooker cars (maintaining the whiteboard, updating mileage, printing off the weekly booking list and occasionally dropping or collecting vehicles from Bodmin)
  • Liaising with neighbourhood police to update community message pages
  • Maintaining stationary and stock levels
  • Updating station noticeboards
  • Organising and returning kit to stores
  • Supporting police personnel with administration and office-based tasks

Mileage expenses for personal vehicles will be paid at 45p per mile.

We would not consider applications where the applicant lives more than 25 miles from the base location for this role.
