Are there any areas locally which are prone to littering? As active citizens, what steps can we take to bring about positive change?

How's it going?

Hi this was an initiative Andre set up in Cullompton as part of his community builder role. It is awaiting a replacement community builder but Andre had thought it had pretty much run its course.
Can we help with anything?
Thanks
Jacqui

Along Station Road and lower end of millennium way and the Mill leat, broken fences, shopping trollies and lots of litter, it looks terrible and is looking unloved and is a danger to wildlife.

Highbanks along the river culm has an increased footfall especially during Covid and I have regularly picked litter up over the last year. Let’s enjoy our open space but respect our surroundings especially if there is livestock in the fields.

Completely agree Mel! We live a lovely part of the world we need to keep it that way for the views, sights and to protect the animals we enjoy seeing both wildlife and domesticated.
