In this event, Exeter Humanists and Exeter Library are excited to be working with Humans Need Apply to bring an in-depth conversation about the impact of Artificial Intelligence on society, from a humanistic and interdisciplinary perspective. We'll be discussing everything from misinformation, healthcare, education, work, and a whole lot more.
Humans Need Apply is an interdisciplinary duo focusing on AI and Existential Risk, comprised of Chris Phippen and Anna Davey-Mitchell:
Anna is a TedX speaker and academic at Bristol University in their Digital Societies time, working simultaneously on a PhD in techno-politics and business impact and innovation.
Chris is a former tech CEO and an associate lecturer in the Computer Science department at Exeter University. He's predominantly a speaker on AGI and systems risk.
Please do come prepared with questions as we will be taking them throughout.
