Acclaimed writer and director Rian Johnson pays tribute to mystery mastermind Agatha Christie in Knives Out, a modern day twist on the classic whodunnit in a large country estate. When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead in suspicious circumstances just after his 85th birthday, the debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously called upon to investigate. Sifting through red herrings from staff and family alike Blanc works to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death.
