We currently have the opportunity to offer volunteer opportunities with our friendly Garden Guardian group on Mondays or short or longer term placements on Thursdays.
The garden is a beautiful space to be in.
Everyone is welcome to work at their own pace, either together or enjoying the quiet of the garden. And on things that they enjoy, this maybe harvesting herbs, weeding, pruning, sowing seeds, carpentry and planting out.
People are welcome to come for as long as they can. The only request is that you let us know beforehand. No regular commitment is necessary unless you'd like to work towards certification in a particular skill.
We can also offer groups can also offer also bespoke wellbeing/wild crafting days which can be based around a range of activities in the garden including herbalism, growing skills, plant dyes.

Why Volunteer? You can get involved in planting, watering, weeding, & general upkeep, making sure the garden continues to flourish for everyone. You’ll also help gather organic fruit, veg, herbs, & flowers for sale to support the garden, for sharing amongst the community.

Grow Your Skills (and Get Recognised!)
Regular volunteers can work towards a recognised skill certificate through AQA. It’s a great way to develop gardening skills, boost your confidence, & gain something practical for your CV or personal growth.
