Introduction to Autism L2 Unit

Date: Wednesday 13th September 2023

Time: 9:30-17:30 

Venue: Barnstaple Library

Objectives are:

  • Understand what is meant by autism
  • Know theories related to autism
  • Know how autism is diagnosed
  • Understand the characteristics that may be present
  • Know about conditions that can occur
  • Know about misconceptions
  • Guidance and support

You will be required to complete paperwork from the college as this course is freely funded by HSSAP Health and Social Care European money which the college will need to report on.
