A guided walk along Huntacott Water through private land with expert input on river ecology and flood resilience. Appreciate your rivers.
An event for all interested in rivers and what we can do to improve their condition. We will look at some work done on this small river, learn more widely about river ecology and how water and river quality are assessed. The walk follows public footpaths and private paths along Huntacott Water. Starting at West Week we will walk 4 miles with planned stops along the way, the walk finishes at Park Mill, ½ mile from Chulmleigh.
To finish we suggest parking in Chulmleigh and then walking the half mile from the end of the walk back to your car, if you are driving. Car sharing encouraged for this one way walk. There is space to leave a car at the start.
