We are a Barnstaple based Charity English Language School
We provide support for those teaching and learning English in the countries of Eastern and Central Europe; through the provision of local teacher training workshops and affordable courses for teachers and students in England.
This work enhances the prospects for young people both in their careers and cultural lives.
Students come to Barnstaple and Bideford for 6 - 9 nights and stay with local families. These volunteers are an important part of the students stay. They encourage the students to speak English in a relaxed homely enviroment.
Host families have their expences coved by SOL at the end of each week.
