Our Home Education Social Group provides a welcoming and inclusive space for home-educated children and young people to connect, socialise and take part in enriching experiences outside of a traditional classroom environment. Not intended to be an educational setting, the group offers social time to make friends with other home educated young people.
Each two-hour session allows participants to explore a variety of engaging, practical activities that promote confidence, independence, and wellbeing. These include access to our Sensory Room, as well as activities such as animal care, gardening, arts and crafts and cooking. Many sessions incorporate outdoor and nature-based experiences, encouraging young people to spend time outside and develop an appreciation for the natural environment.
The group is ideal for home-educated children who would benefit from regular social opportunities and the chance to build friendships.
