Hemyock Youth Club is thriving, with over 200 members, at an average session there are usually 20-40 children and young people. The club is for ages 10 – 16 years, most of our attendees are pre-teens. Our club runs on a Monday evening from 6-8pm.
We aim to provide well supervised, engaging activities for our children. We have a very friendly team of professional volunteer leaders, but have vacancies for more members.
About You
We would welcome expressions of interest from everyone. If you are new to the area and looking to connect with the community, or if you are an older person this would provide a great opportunity to engage with our lovely young people. Perhaps you are thinking of a career in youth work and would like to get some experience? We ask that you are able to regularly commit to 2 hours to the club. If you have experience with working with children that would be great, but is not essential.
In return we will provide you with a DBS certificate and support in your role, and lots of cups of tea.
